March 18, 2008. RZHD modernizes a site of a way St.-Petersburg - Moscow

«The Russian railways» will invest more than 4,6 billion rbl in development of the high-speed passenger communication on a direction St.-Petersburg - Moscow this year. As it was informed in the press centre of Open Society "RZHD", means will be directed on reconstruction of constructions and devices on a site Moscow - St.-Petersburg - reorganization of stations Sunflower and Povarovo, reconstruction of a way, constructions and devices on stages Aleshinka - Berezajka and Berezajka - Bologoe, reconstruction of stations Berezajka and Aleshinka and a number of other works.

Let's remind, the project purpose - reduction of time of movement of high-speed passenger trains by 2009 between Moscow and St.-Petersburg till 3 o'clock 45 minutes. Within the limits of this project Open Society "RZHD" has already lead the whole complex of works on preparation of a site for new speeds. It included updating of a traveling infrastructure, systems of electrosupply, communication, automatics and telemechanics.
